Murder walks the plank is a fully interactive murder mystery event written and preformed by JWU faculty and students. The premise is, you the audience, have been invited to a special rehearsal of Red Rock’s production of Calypso’s Treasure, a play lossley based on the novel, Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, as it features similar swash buckling pirates, tropical settings and intense intrigue on the high seas! As part of this event, you will get to watch the rehearsal in a sneak-peak event as well as meet the Red Rock actors. This is part of a special PR too really get the buzz going. The Cast features the conniving and bombtasic lead actor, the ambitious understudy, the plotting director, the young, would be starlet, the alluring fashion model and the primary financial benefactor looking to recap a healthy return on his investment. 8:30 a.m. Wildcat Fun Run and Walk Coors Family Commons

The Fun Run and Walk check-in will begin at 8:30am and the start is at 9am. The path is less than 1.5 miles long. You will travel around campus and finish in the Coors Family Commons. Register online.

Join our College of Hospitality Management faculty on a guided tasting of Oktoberfest. Learn about the true timing of Oktoberfest along with its history. Our faculty will lead you through a guided tasting of traditional German beers and a selection of Colorado Brewers fall beers, offering insights on the flavors and recommending pairings along the way.
