Friday, October 18:

  • Alumni & Family Weekend Dinner with the President @5:00 p.m. | $10

Join campus president, Dr. Larry Rice, along with faculty, staff, and alumni for an opening dinner. Indulge in tasty creations made by our very own culinary instructors, stop by our open bar for a glass of wine, and mingle with other JWU families.

  • Painting with a Twist @7:30 p.m. | $10

Enjoy this family-friendly guided painting session while master instructor and studio owner, David Sexton, helps you paint a masterpiece. Unleash your creativity through art accompanied by a glass of wine or beer.

Saturday, October 19:

  • Campus Tour @ 9 a.m. | FREE

Take a student-led tour of Johnson and Wales University's beautiful North Miami campus to see where your Wildcat lives, learns, and prepares for their professional career.

  • Wildcat Breakfast @ 9:30 a.m | $5

    Fuel yourself up to prepare for a packed day of events with a catered breakfast. Eggs, bacon, with a side order of spirt coming your way! Don't forget to grab that second cup of coffee.

  • Culinary and Baking & Pastry Courses @10:30 a.m. | $10

     Join expert chefs in a fun, hands-on cooking class and experience the fun of preparing your own treats with the entire family.  

  • Wildcat Fest @12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. | $10

A special Wildcat Fest will feature food trucks, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and an exclusive alumni-only tent. Please note: This event is FREE for current JWU students.

  • JWU Soccer Game & Senior Day Event | FREE

    Cheer on our JWU Women's Team as they compete against SCAD and Celebrate our senior players as they get close to reaching alumni status. We'll be providing Fan Vans to and from the field!

  • Jungle Queen Riverboat Dinner Cruise @ 5:00 p.m. (returning at 11:00 p.m.) | $25

Fully narrated cruise down the "Venice of America," Fort Lauderdale's New River, sailing through Millionaire's Row with homes of the Rich and Famous, spectacular Mega Yachts, and sights beyond belief. When you arrive at our tropical isle, you'll be treated to an All-You-Can-Eat Dinner featuring barbecue baby back ribs, barbecue chicken, peel & eat shrimp and all the fixin's. Live entertainment during dinner, and a laugh out loud variety show after dinner. Please note: the bus will depart from campus at 4:45 p.m. sharp.

Sunday, October 20:

  • Sunrise Kayaking @8:00 a.m. | $10

Experience an early morning kayak through the beautiful mangrove forest preservation of South Florida at Oleta River State Park. Vans will depart from the Wildcat Center at 7:45 a.m.
